Learning & Development
Flywheel Training Program: A four week program to teach fundamentals and gradually ramp up new hires
Flywheel Mentorship Program: A six month relationship cycle to give colleagues the opportunity to learn from more from others throughout the year
People Leadership Program: A program to develop managers to flex their style to give the best to, and get the best out of, their employees
Public Speaking Workshops: Opportunities to practice public speaking in a low pressure environment
Campus Ambassador Program: Resources available to our colleagues who would like to recruit at their college
Work-Life Balance
Internal No Meetings Week: This is a once a quarter policy that prevents the scheduling of meetings during a designated week to help with management of work
Half Day Summer Fridays: During the summer, all business close at 1 PM local time
Unlimited Vacation: We offer no limit on vacation time, colleagues have flexibility with taking time off
Early Dismissal Before Holidays: We offer early leave the day before every holiday
Mental Health & Well-Being
Mental Health PTO Days: Mental health is a priority which is why we provide quarterly days off to give time for self care
Mental Health First Aiders: Colleagues who go through training are additional local resources committed to fully supporting, to listen without judgement, provide additional resources as needed, and to speak openly about mental health
Employee Assistance Program: Our Employee Assistance Program is available for colleagues and their dependents with almost any issue—handling stress, maintaining relationships, dealing with work-related issues, coping with loneliness, improving communication and more
Volunteering
Volunteer Day: A PTO day for colleagues to give back to originations or causes that are meaningful to them
Office Events: Monthly organized volunteer events for the office to go out together to give back. Recommendations can be made if someone would like to suggest a specific organization. Our office has relationships with:
- Next One Up offers early and consistent counseling for middle and high school students located in Baltimore City. They create an environment that promotes early exposure to new opportunities and growth through conquering challenges
- Just Like Us works with schools across the UK to improve the lives of LGBT+ young people
- Point Foundation empowers promising LGBTQ students to achieve their full academic and leadership potential

Black in Business
Black in Business is a space for our Black colleagues to network and, share their experiences. The Black in Business group will also be helping Ascential in our efforts to attract, retain and develop the best diverse talent; ultimately creating a more inclusive environment

Ascential Pride Network
Ascential Pride is open to individuals from the LGBTQ+ community, and their allies. A global network with events and conversations which celebrate the Pride movement, Ascential Pride champions for change to support the community. This group is meeting to agree how to take Ascential Pride to the next stage. So watch this space for how you can get involved
